Tottenham Hotspur will retrain 42 Chinese teachers into football for 8000 children in Guangzhou

42 Chinese former physical education teachers will be trained in football teaching methods, and guide 8000 children in the Chinese city of Guangzhou as part of the "Jaguar Football Campus Guangzhou, delivered by Tottenham Hotspur", and put in place for the 2016-17 season by Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League), notably in partnership with the automobile manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover China, in action launched on 26/09/2016.

Tottenham Hotspur coaches will travel to Guangzhou to train the teachers according to the methods used in the English club's training centre. "The participating PE teachers will gain a unique insight into coaching at the highest level, which will help promote further development of grassroots football in China," said Tottenham Hotspur.

Under this programme, 40 Chinese children will make a trip to the UK in November 2016, where they will participate in a week of training at Tottenham Hotspur's training centre and will attend the international match between England - Scotland, on 11/11/2016.
