Premier League: Liverpool FC mark the end of the Summer Academy for 6-14 year olds in Scandinavia

"The LFC International Academy is celebrating the conclusion of another successful series of soccer school programmes across Scandinavia this summer," said the English club on 27/09/2016.

Over 60 coaches from the International Academy were present in more than thirty locations in Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Sweden to accompany the three-day football camps with nearly 2,500 players over a period of more two months. Aimed at 6-14 year old boys and girls, the Scandinavian Academy has already helped to pass the "The Liverpool Method" to more than 30,000 young people in its 11 years of existence.

"As always, it gives us great pleasure to take our coaching programme out to Scandinavia as it is so well received by our fantastic and loyal LFC supporters. Knowing that we can give these players in Scandinavia a real LFC Academy experience both on and off the pitch is great as we know that not all of them will have the chance to visit Anfield," said Anthony Godfrey, coaching resource manager of the LFC International Academy.
