Serie A TIM: Nike, Kappa, Macron, and Joma (3 clubs each) most represented kit suppliers in 2016-17

With three of the 20 clubs (15%) under contract each, the Italian brands Kappa and Macron, the Spanish brand Joma and the American brand Nike are the most represented kit suppliers in Serie A TIM during the 2016-17 season. Nike was the most represented brand in the Italian first division during the 2014-15 season (five clubs under contract) and 2015-16 (four clubs).

These four sports equipment manufacturers are ahead, in 2016-17, of the German brand adidas, which has two clubs under contract: Juventus (estimated amount of €31.5m per season) and AC Milan (estimated €18.6m per season). These two agreements make adidas the top-spending equipment manufacturer in of the Serie A TIM in monetary terms, comprsing 54% of the known total in 2016-17 (€50.1m of a minimum of €92.8m for 13 of the 20 clubs).
