LaLiga: Xavi, David Villa, and Kiko join the team of ambassadors for LaLiga Santander

The three former Spanish internationals Xavi Hernandez, David Villa, and Francisco Miguel Narváez Macho (known as "Kiko") have become LaLiga ambassadors, announced the Spanish League during a gala presentation of all its ambassadors on 04/10/2016.

Xavi, David Villa, and Kiko join 12 former players of the league who already held the function of ambassadors for the Spanish top division. This team of former stars is charged by the Spanish League to promote the image of LaLiga Santander internationally, in particular on operations or games organised by LaLiga.

"The team of ambassadors knows success. Of all our programmes launched abroad, this one has the most success, and I would say that we are an example to others," said Fernando Sanz, a former player and director of international projects and also Middle East office of LaLiga (based in Dubai, UAE).
