Switzerland: Swisscom (via Cinetrade) acquires domestic TV rights to the SFL for the 2017-21 cycle

CT Cinetrade SA has acquired, for four years, the domestic audiovisual rights to the Swiss first and second division championships - the Raiffeisen Super League (RSL) and Brack.ch Challenge League, respectively - from the 2017-18 season, formally announced the SFL on 05/10/2016.

Cinetrade, whose parent company is Swisscom, will continue to broadcast all 180 games of the RSL, via its Teleclub pay-TV channels. "Significant changes that will be made to kick-off times of the Super League (see below). One Sunday fixture will still be broadcast across Switzerland on the channels of the (public, free-TV) Swiss Broadcasting Corporation. The near live clips of all goals from the Super League, as well as all roundups of matches on SFL.CH and in the
official Swiss Football League app, SFL Official, will continue to be free-to-air for all fans," stated the SFL.
