FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) will submit to its socios a budget of €695m for the 2016-17 season, the club announced on 12/10/2016. The budget must be approved by the Barça socios (with voting rights) at the annual general meeting, scheduled on Saturday, 29/10/2016.

FC Barcelona expect revenue to grow 2% from the 2015-16 season (€679m), which would be a record high in the club's history. The club expects an increase in all of its revenue streams (contributions from socios, matchday revenue, marketing, and TV rights), except player transfers (projected €+22m, -34%) .

The expenses of the Barça in 2016-17 are budgeted at €663m, which thus plans for an operating profit of €32m and a net profit (after tax) of €21m. EBITDA is expected to reach €120m.

  • The annual general meeting of socios will also validate the 2015-16 accounts of FC Barcelona, on 29/10/2016.
