FIFA 17: creation of a Spanish eSports league with six professional clubs, including Valencia CF

Real Sociedad, Sevilla FC, Villarreal CF, Real Sporting de Gijón, and Valencia CF (LaLiga Santander) plus Real Zaragoza (LaLiga 1|2|3) will take part in the first professional league if football gaming, "Virtual Football Organization", with the FIFA 17 game, in January 2017, announced all the relevant stakeholders on 07/10/2016.

The objective of this "Virtual Football Organization" (VFO) is to host a large number of eSports teams, professional or not, to create a league tournament. This competition will be played in the standard format 11 players against 11, via the "Club Pro" mode of FIFA 17.

Also participating in this competition is a team of Real Avilés (LaLiga 1|2|3), with a team sponsored by the Philips brand and the Spanish eSports club "x6tence".
