Blue Diamond Growers, the world leader in the production and distribution of almonds, has become the jersey sponsor of the NBA franchise Sacramento Kings, from the 2017-18 season, announced the team on 10/10/2016. The annual amount is estimated at $5m (€4.5m on 12/10/2016) by US media.

The partnership makes Blue Diamond Growers, whose headquarters are in Sacramento (California, USA), the second company to appear on the jersey of an NBA franchise, after StubHub (ticketing platform) and the Philadelphia 76ers ($5m / €4.5m annually from 2017-18).

The contract between Blue Diamond Growers and Sacramento Kings covers a period of three seasons (2016-2019), according to US media, and goes beyond jersey sponsorship from 2016-17 (beginning of the NBA season: 25/10/2016), the Blue Diamond Almond Breeze (almond milk beverages) product of the brand will be displayed on the parquet floor of the Golden 1 Center (17,500 seats) near each team's bench, and the Blue Diamond Growers line of products will be sold in kiosks in the new arena of the Sacramento Kings.
