Germany: Eurosport to offer its Eurosport 1 channel for free, via its OTT platforms

The Eurosport group will offer its Eurosport 1 channel for free in Germany via the website eurosport.de, announced the group on 12/10/2016. To access the channel for view, users can register with their Facebook or Google+ account, or directly via the German Eurosport website.

The offer is also accessible via the Eurosport Player OTT application - downloadable via iOS and Android. Eurosport 1 was previously available on the internet via Eurosport Player, for a price starting from €5.99 per month. This OTT offer also included the channels Eurosport 2 and Eurosportnews. These latter two channels remain pay-TV in Germany at the moment.
