Matchday 8 of the 2016-17 LaLiga Santander season drew an average of 32,003 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 85%, from 14 to 17/10/2016. The average attendance of the Spanish championship this season is currently 28,382 fans per game, for an average fill rate of 76%.

FC Barcelona - Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña (4-0) drew the best attendance of Matchday 8, with 85,553 spectators at the Camp Nou (fill rate: 86%). This is the second best attendance for a league match since the start of the 2016-17 season.

Four games of Matchday 8 drew more than 40,000 spectators, while nine games of 10 recorded fill rates above 75%.
