Bundesliga: a ratio of 3.17 for the distribution of TV rights (domestic / international) in 2015-16

The ratio of the distribution of the audiovisual rights (including both domestic and international) in the Bundesliga - that is, the ratio of the club which receives the most money compared to the one which receives the lowest amount - for the 2015-16 season was 3.17, according to data published by the DFL.

FC Bayern Munich are the Bundesliga club which received the most TV revenue from the league in 2015-16, with €71.9m, of which €40.4m came from domestic rights (56%). SV Darmstadt 98 received the lowest amount: €22.7m, of which €20.2m came from domestic rights (89%).

In Germany, for the Bundesliga and the 2.Bundesliga, the distribution ratio of the domestic TV rights is 2. Regarding the international TV rights, a new distribution system, announced by the DFL on 10/03/2014 stipulates that some of the money be distributed among the clubs participated in European competitions (see below).
