Spain: LaLiga Gala (#PremiosLaLiga) in Valencia on 24/10/2016, to be broadcast in over 180 countries

LaLiga has organised the #PremiosLaLiga Gala to be hosted at the Valencia Congress Centre (Spain) on Monday, 24/10/2016 from 22:00 CET, and will be broadcast live in over 180 countries, the Spanish league announced on 18/10/2016. The programming begins at 20:30 with the arrival of both players and sporting personalities on the red carpet.

In Spain, rights holders of LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3 will broadcast the evening: the free-TV channel Gol (Mediapro), and the pay-TV channel beIN LaLiga. Streaming of the event will also available on the website LaLiga.es. Other major broadcasters include PPTV in China, Canal+ Afrique, Supersport in Africa, beIN Sports Middle East, ESPN and DirecTV for Latin America.

The gala has a total of 17 awards, divided into ten different categories, to be awarded for the 2015-16 season, including, for the first time, the prize of top scorer in the Liga Femenina Iberdrola, the Spanish women's first division (see below).
