"FCB have 143,276 members (socios) and our way of thinking is to take care of them while offering, amongst other things, an array of benefits related to access for attending games at the stadium," said Enrique García, the venue director of the Camp Nou (99,354 capacity) for FC Barcelona, to News Tank Football on 24/11/2016.

FC Barcelona have 86,500 season ticket holders for the 2016-17 season, the highest mark among the 98 clubs of the European Top 5 leagues for this season. "We have a very important social aspect and we want to give our members and fans the chance to enjoy the best football at an affordable price," added Enrique García.

Another objective of FC Barcelona is the reselling of tickets for the games in which the season ticket holder cannot attend. "We try to communicate to our members that if they don't want to (or can't) attend a match to give up their seats!," said Enrique García, who answered questions from News Tank Football about the ticketing strategies of FC Barcelona.
