Paris SG: 47,929 spectators for Marseille match, new club record for Ligue 1 at the Parc des Princes

With 47,929 spectators, the Paris Saint-Germain - Olympique de Marseille game (0-0, Matchday 10 of Ligue 1) achieved a new attendance record at the Parc des Princes for a Ligue 1 match, on 23/10/2016.

The previous record attendance for the Parisian club at the Parc des Princes, for a league match, was against FC Nantes (4-0, Matchday 38 of the 2015-16 Ligue 1, with 47,844 spectators), on the 14/05/2016. Eight of the top ten Ligue 1 attendances in the history of PSG have been recorded during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons. With 47,929 spectators (sold out), the PSG-OM match achieved a stadium fill rate of 100% since the commercial capacity of the Parc des Princes stadium is 47,929 places.

In all competitions, the match against Marseille is the fourth best attendance in the history of Parisian club at the Parc des Princes, behind three European matches played in 1982 and 1983, when the stadium capacity was higher.
