Serie A TIM: Juventus open academy for young people aged 7-17 in Belgium, its 20^th overseas

Juventus (Serie A TIM) have launched an academy for young people aged 7 to 17 in Mons (Belgium), in partnership with the Belgian club Shape FC, on 20/10/2016. Founded in 2011, Shape FC, which has 150 licensees, is located in the village of Casteau, and is part of NATO Alliance(a political-military organisation which brings together 28 Western countries).

"The focus of our efforts, just like the very name of Juventus itself, is based on youngsters, giving them the chance to grow not only as footballers but more importantly as young adults. Every day our ideas of fair play, teamwork and love of the game are being spread by our coaches with exactly that in mind," said Gianluca Pessotto, a former player of Juventus and the sporting director of the Juventus Academy, on 26/02/2016.

This academy is the club's 20^th version abroad, and the first in Belgium. Since early 2016, Juventus have organised eight training camps in Belgium and Luxembourg, which have hosted more than 500 young people.
