Ligue 1: opening of a Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Cairo (Egypt), the club's 8^th site abroad

Paris Saint-Germain inaugurated its new Academy in Cairo (Egypt) on 22/10/2016, the club's eighth football school abroad. This academy location has been created in exclusive partnership with the sports marketing agency Z Bling Effect, with whom the club has signed a three-year contract.

"We're delighted to be able to put in place this new Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Egypt and reinforce our presence in Africa where football is king. Paris Saint-Germain has around 1.5 million Egyptian fans on social media, placing Egypt fifth in the ranking of countries where the club is most popular. Through the Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Egypt, we hope to share our values in a more intense way with this fan base, which has enjoyed exceptional growth over the last 12 months," said Fabien Allegre, director of merchandising and brand diversification of PSG, on 25/10/2016.
