WME / IMG: Michael Ma (ex-NBA) appointed CEO of the Chinese subsidiary, on 27/10/2016

Michael Ma has been appointed the CEO of the Chinese subsidiary of WME / IMG, at the Shanghai office of the American agency, on 27/10/2016. The Chinese subsidiary is from a joint venture between WME / IMG, the investment funds Sequoia Capital and FountainVest Partners, and the Chinese internset serivces group Tencent, launched on 09/06/2016.

Michael Ma spent thirteen years working at the NBA, notably including time as an assistant to the general manager of the China office of the NBA, from 2012 to 2016.
