Top 5: audiovisual revenues in 2015-16

The international audiovisual revenues for the 2015-16 Premier League (€1bn) exceed those of four other major European leagues combined (LaLiga hopes for €600m, a guaranteed minimum of €185m for the Serie A TIM, €154m for the Bundesliga, €42.5m for Ligue 1, or €981.5m for these four leagues in total).

For domestic audiovisual revenues, the 2015-16 Premier League (£1.07bn / €1.43bn), equals half of those of the four other major leagues (Serie A TIM: €987m; Bundesliga: €663m, Liga BBVA: €630m; Ligue 1: €607m, or €2,887m total for these four leagues).


Note: For the Liga BBVA, revenues also include those for the Liga Adelante and the Copa del Rey. In the Bundesliga, they also include revenues from for TV rights to the 2.Bundesliga. For the Premier League, the domestic revenues are £1.07bn and international revenues are £743m; the conversion rate applied is that of 13/10/2015.
