Real Sociedad: club organise an eSports game before its Laliga Santander match

Real Sociedad organised a public eSports game, involving the FIFA 17 video game, ahead of its home match against Deportivo Alavés (3-0, Matchday 9 of LaLiga Santander), on 22/10/2016.

The captains of the eSports teams of Real Sociedad and Deportivo Alavés, along with two winners of the Twitter activation "#RealSociedadAlavesFIFA17", competed in a 2 against 2 format in front of fans of both teams, the Museo Real100 (the club museum of Real Sociedad).

At the end of this virtual game, won by Deportivo Alavés, the four players attended the LaLiga match at the Estadio Anoeta (32,073 seats).

• Real Sociedad will take part in the first Spanish virtual professional football league, "Virtual Football Organization", using the FIFA 17 game, from January 2017, the club announced on 07/10/2016.
