Matchday 9 of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season drew an average of 39,040 specatators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 94%, from 28 to 30/10/2016. The average attendance of the German league is currently 41,289 fans per game on the season (average fill rate: 93%).

Borussia Dortmund - FC Schalke 04 (0-0) drew the highest attendance of Matchday 9, with 80,179 spectators at Signal Iduna Park (fill rate: 98%). Borussia Dortmund have drawn more than 80,000 fans at all five home games so far in 2016-17.

Three games of Matchday 9 drew more than 50,000 spectators, and six of nine games recorded a fill rate above 96%.
