Premier League : Manchester City launch 10 new international websites

Manchester City FC (2nd in the Premier League in 2012/13) have expanded their global presence by launching 10 new websites, the club announced on the 17/07/2013. Manchester City content is now available to fans from more than 160 countries, or "80% of the world's connected population," explained the club.

In addition to the club’s official site in English and its existing Arabic and Mandarin Chinese versions, fans will now be able to view online content in Traditional Chinese, French, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Thai.

"Manchester City’s popularity and global fan base is growing at a fast pace. We want to talk to our fans and friends in their own language to engage with them in new ways," said Manchester City CEO, Ferran Soriano. "We are very proud of this initiative," he added.
