Sevilla FC: Puerto Rico Tourist Company becomes main shirt sponsor for 2016-2018 (€7m in total)

CTPR (Compañía de Turismo de Puerto Rico), the Tourism Company of Puerto Rico (a Caribbean territory associated with, but not incorporated into the USA,) has become the main shirt sponsor of Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander), on 28/10/2016. The shirt of the Sevilla club has shown the website name "See Puerto Rico.com" since this date.

The agreement, speculated by Puerto Rican and Spanish media since early September 2016, may cover a two-season span (2016-2018) for an overall amount of €7m, excluding sporting bonuses, or €3.5m per season. Neither the club nor CTPR confirmed this information.

"Visit Malaysia", the brand of the Malaysian Tourism Office, was Sevilla FC's shirt sponsor in 2014-15 (a contract valued at €2m). The club has played, since 2015-16, with a kit free of any sponsor, except for the final of the Copa del Rey in 2015-16, played with a shirt sponsored by the Real Seguros insurance group on front and "Andalucia" (after the region in Spain) on the back.
