Wanda Sports Holding: Hengming Yang appointed CEO, and Philippe Blatter as Vice Chairman

Wanda Sports Holding has appointed Hengming Yang, 50 years old, as CEO, and Philippe Blatter as Vice Chairman of the Board, the Chinese group, which owns the Infront Sports & Media agency, announced on 03/11/2016.

These appointments are effective from 01/11/2016. "Philippe Blatter is newly appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wanda Sports Holding. The Wanda Sports Holding Board of Directors will from now on be led by Lincoln Zhang as Chairman and Philippe Blatter as Vice-Chairman. As President and Vice Chairman of Wanda Sports Holding, Philippe Blatter remains Vice President and a member of the management of Wanda Cultural Industry Group. His responsibilities as President & CEO of Infront Sports & Media remain unchanged," the group said.

Hengming Yang has spent more than ten years in the British Petroleum Company (BP). Before joining Wanda, he was president of the Chinese division of BP.
