Borussia Dortmund: Lagardère Sports to open a business unit dedicated to the club in Düsseldorf

Lagardère Sports Germany will open, in Düsseldorf (GER) in early 2017, a new business unit specifically dedicated to Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga), announced the German office of the media rights and marketing agency Lagardère Sports, on 04/11/2016.

The unit, composed of five people, will bring together skill sets in sales and brand consulting. It will be directed by Jonathan Webster, the senior manager in the commercialisation of sponsorship contracts at the TEAM Marketing agency since 2012, and who returns to Lagardère Sports after having held commerical positions there between 2004 and 2012.

"With the opening of the sales office dedicated to Borussia Dortmund, Lagardère Sports opens the way to have the capacity to support, even more closely, the strong brand of Borussia Dortmund in its internationalization process in the future, and close more international partnerships.
