Brazil: Nissan to sponsor Vasco da Gama for €2.7m per year

Car manufacturer Nissan has been named sponsor of Vasco da Gama (Brazilian first division) on the 19/07/2013. The Japanese company will pay €2.7m per year to be present on the back of the club's shirt. The duration of the contract has not been specified.

The partnership will be officially be presented at the derby against Fluminense (champions of Brazil in 2012), at the Maracana stadium, on the 21/07/2013

Caixa Economica Federal bank, the front of shirt sponsor, pays €7m per season to be Vasco da Gama's major sponsor. The contract was signed on the 10/07/2013.
