Liverpool FC (7th in the Premier League in 2012/13) have extended their shirt sponsorship agreement with British Standard Chartered bank, until the end of the 2015/16 season, the club announced on the 19/07/2013. The bank has been the English club's shirt sponsor and official partner since July 2010.

Since their deal began, the club and Standard Chartered have organised social activities involving fans, players and staff of the club, as well as football legends. The aim is to raise awareness of global issues, including health, such as blindness or HIV.

Standard Chartered is also an official partner of Liverpool FC's summer tour of Asia and Australia, from the 20 to the 28/07/2013.
