LaLiga: Royal Jordanian (airline) becomes main shirt sponsor of CD Leganés in 2016-17

Royal Jordanian, the national airline of the Kingdom of Jordan, has become the main shirt sponsor and official airline of the CD Leganés (LaLiga Santander) until the end of the 2016-17 season, on 04/11/2016. The partnership is valued at €500,000 by the Spanish media.

The slogan "Fly Royal Jordanian" appeared for the first time on the front of the shirt of the club, who were promoted to Spanish first division for this season, during the match against Real Madrid CF (0-3, Matchday 11 of LaLiga Santander 2016- 17), on Sunday, 06/11/2016. Kick-off was at 12:00 CET, prime time exposure for LaLiga Santander in Asia.

The partnership with Royal Jordanian was negotiated by Mbuzz Sport, a marketing and media rights agency based in Dubai (UAE), who acquired the main sponsorship rights to the Leganés kit, for the 2016-17 season, on 22/08/2016. Mbuzz Sport has the right to market this space with four different sponsors during the season.
