Italy: Inter Milan launch a harassment prevention programme in schools, supported by Pirelli

FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) and the Minister of Education for the Lombardy region have implemented a harassment prevention programme at schools and on social networks, announced the club on 08/11/2016. The initiative, which targets children aged between 10 to 15 years old in the area of Milan (ITA), is supported by the Pirelli Foundation, a global sponsor of the Italian club.

The programme, called "Bullismo in Offside" ("Put bullying offside"), aims to provide teachers with the knowledge and tools to identify and help students experiencing harassment, bullying, and isolation. "The educational approach is designed to enable students to achieve a physical, emotional, cognitive, ethical, social, and multicultural balance," said Inter.

The programme takes place in two phases. A seminar was first organised at the premises of the Pirelli Foundation on 10/11 and 11/11/2016, with instructors from each participating schools.
