France: Nathalie Boy de la Tour is elected president of Ligue de Football Professionel

"The General Assembly of the LFP elects Nathalie Boy de la Tour, 48 years old, as president of the LFP, as well as a new board (see below), for a term of four years," announced the French professional league, after the meetings held at the headquarters of the French Football Federation in Paris (FRA), on 11/11/2016.

Proposed to stand by the board of directors, the candidacy of Nathalie Boy de la Tour collected 93.77% "yes" votes in the elective General Assembly, against 6.23% "no" votes. Earlier, the candidacy of Raymond Domenech was rejected by the General Assembly (33.59% "yes" against 66.41% "no"). Within the board of directors, Domenech's candidacy had obtained 13 votes, with 10 votes for Jean-Michel Roussier, and one abstention. In the first round, Raymond Domenech and Jean-Michel Roussier had draw 12 votes each from with the current board.
