Facebook: 42.71 million fans in total for the 20 clubs in Ligue 1 (November 2016)

The 20 clubs in the 2016-17 Ligue 1 championship have a cumulative total of 42.71 million fans on the social network Facebook, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 02/11/2016. Ligue 1 is thus the least followed of the European Top 5 leagues on Facebook, with 2.13 million fans on average per club.

Paris Saint-Germain are the most followed French club on Facebook (25,510,000 fans), despite a decrease of 6200 fans since October 2016. AS Monaco are the French club which gained the most fans in October (+167,000), which comprises 69% of new fans in Ligue 1 over the month.

With 7.7% growth, OGC Nice (351,600 fans to 378,700) recorded the best percentage increase on Facebook between October and November 2016.
