The 20 clubs in the 2016-17 Serie A TIM championship have a cumulative 74.25 million fans on the social network Facebook, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 02/11/2016. The Serie A TIM is the fourth most popular Top 5 league on Facebook, behind the Premier League, LaLiga Santander, and the Bundesliga, with 3.71 million fans on average per club.

Juventus are the most followed Italian club on Facebook, with 25.1 million fans, up 656,850 (+2.7%) compared with October 2016. This is the largest increase in fans in the European Top 5 leagues. Juve have now passed AC Milan, who count 24.81 million fans.
