Liverpool FC: start of work for the new club shop at Anfield, to open in 2017-18

Liverpool FC (Premier League) broke ground for its new official club shop at Anfield (54,074 seats), the opening of which is scheduled for "the beginning of the 2017-18 season", announced the club on 14/11/2016.

The construction of this shop is part of a series of upgrades to Anfield and follows the extension of the Main Stand, the largest of the enclosure, which was inaugurated on 10/09/2016. This expansion helped increase the Anfield capacity from 45,500 to 54,074 seats.

The new club shop will cover 1800m2, four times the size of the current store. Guests can enjoy exclusive products, sold only in this shop. The number of payment stations will increase by 100 percent and the number of shirt printing locations will increase by over 500 percent in comparison to the current Anfield store.
