Serie A TIM: 13.66 million total Twitter followers for the 20 Italian clubs (November 2016)

The 20 clubs in the 2016-17 Serie A TIM championship have a cumulative 13.66 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 02/11/2016. This result puts Serie A TIM into third place in the Top 5 leagues, behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, with an average of 683,145 followers per club.

AC Milan are the most followed Italian club, with 4 million followers, up 105,700 (+2.7%) compared with October 2016. Juventus (2^nd, 3.52 million) and AS Roma (3^rd, 1.17 million) complete the podium. These three clubs have a cumulative 8.7 million followers, or 63.67% of the total of the 20 clubs in the Serie A TIM.

With a rise of 8.3% in followers (from 9,230 to 10,000), FC Crotone is the Serie A TIM club which recorded the best percentage growth on Twitter between October and November 2016, and passed 10,000 followers.

The figures included only count the primary Twitter account of each club.
