Switzerland: ratio of 1.8 for distribution rights + league marketing for Super League from 2017-18

The board of the Swiss Football League approved a distribution ratio of the domestic and international TV rights (media + league marketing) of 1.8 for the 10 clubs of the 2017-18 Raiffeisen Super League during its annual general meeting, on 11/11/2016.

This ratio (not reported in the current period) refers to ratio between the club which receives the most amount from the league and the club which receives the lowest amount, and this ratio will be 1.5 for the 10 clubs of the second division Brack.ch Challenge League.

"There are now CHF 30.7m (€28.6m as of 11/11/2016), compared to CHF 17.2m (€16m) in the previous cycle, to be awarded each season to the 20 clubs of the top two (professional) divisions. CHF 24.1m (€22.4m) will go to the Super League clubs (78.5%), and CHF 6.6m (€6.1m) to those of Challenge League (21.5%), corresponding, as previously, to a total ratio of 4 to 1," said the Swiss League.
