FIFA: 14 federations interested in hosting the 2016 congress and 10 in 2017

14 federations have expressed their interest in hosting FIFA's (International Federation of Association Football) congress in 2016, and 10 federations have indicated their wish to host the 2017 edition, according to FIFA on the 22/07/2013.

Following the 2013 congress, held in Mauritius on the 30 and 31/05/2013, the 2014 congress will unite 209 member federations in Sao Paulo (Brazil) on the 10 and 11/06/2014, before the 20^th edition of the World Cup (12/06 - 13/07/2014).

The congress in 2015, during which FIFA will elect its president, will be held in Zurich (Switzerland), as is the case for every election year, on the 28 and 29/05/2015.

In 2018, congress will be held in Russia as a preamble to the 21^st edition of the World Cup.
