Bundesliga: attendance for Matchday 11 of the 2016-17 season, Dortmund - Munich draws 81,360 fans

Matchday 11 of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season drew an average of 36,691 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 93%, from 18/11 to 20/11/2016. The average attendance of the German league is currently 41,444 spectators per game on the season (average fill rate: 93%).

Borussia Dortmund - FC Bayern Munich (1-0) recorded the highest attendance of Matchday 11, with 81,360 spectators at Signal Iduna Park (sold out). This is the third of the six home games in 2016-17 that Borussia Dortmund have sold out.

Only two games of Matchday 11 drew more than 40,000 spectators, the lowest proportion of the 2016-17 season. This is mainly explained by the fact that of the nine teams which had home games, seven of them were the Bundesliga clubs operating in the smallest stadiums of the German league.
