Media: the American channel GolTV acquires the rights of the Dutch championship in the United States

American TV channel GolTV has secured the broadcast rights in the United States to the Eredivisie (Dutch first division) on the 22/07/2013.

GolTV, whose programs are in both English and Spanish, will retransmit the Dutch league from the beginning of the 2013-14 season on the 02/08/2013. The duration or the amount of the contract have not been specified.

Distributed in North America and Latin America across multiple cable and satellite providers, the TV channel also provides the Bundesliga (GER), La Liga (ESP), and the Argentine, Brazilian, and Mexican championships, and European qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup.
