This is the highest rating for a matchday of the 2016-17 Bundesliga.

The best TV audience of the weekend was for the Borussia Dortmund - FC Bayern Munich (1-0), which drew 1.44 million subscribers on average on Sky Bundesliga HD 1 on Saturday, 19/11/2016 from 18:30 CET. This is a high mark for 2016-17, and the fifth best audience for the Bundesliga since the German audience measurement institutes began collecting data (2011). The five best record ratings are for matches between these two clubs. The overall record belongs to Borussia Dortmund - Bayern Munich (0-0) on 05/03/2016 (1.87 million subscribers on average).
