Sevilla FC: record turnover of €106.5m in 2015-16 (+24.7%), net profit of €15.7m (+138%)

Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander) posted a record turnover of €106.55m (excluding gains from player trading) during the 2015-16 fiscal year (from 01/07/2015 to 30/06/2016), an increase of 24.7% from the 2014-15 fiscal year (€85.48m), the club said in its annual report released on 18/11/2016. This is the first time the club has exceeded the €100m turnover mark.

Sevilla FC also reported "other income" of a total of €13.96m, of which was an exceptional amount of €10.2m paid by LaLiga "for the management of audiovisual rights of the club". The operating profit amounted to €19.96m, an increase of 88% from 2014-15 (€10.61m). The 2015-16 net profit was €15.7m, compared to €6.52m in 2016-17 (+138%).

"The increase in revenues comes mainly from TV rights, and the amount received for participating in European competitions," said Sevilla FC, who won the 2015-16 Europa League, its third consecutive in a row after also winning the 2013-14 and 2014-15 editions.
