"It was very rewarding and interesting for leaders who usually do not meet, to exchange and share experiences. We have seen that the problems we have in France are not at all the same as those in Tahiti or Chad," said Gianni Infantino, FIFA president, at the end of the first Executive Football Summit of the international federation, organised in an airport hotel near Paris-Charles de Gaulle on 22/11 and 23/11/2016.

11 Executive Football Summits have been scheduled through March 2017 (see schedule and locations below). "FIFA has held its first Executive Football Summit, one of the key initiatives introduced as part of the FIFA reforms, in Paris on 22 and 23/11/2016. The series of summits will bring together member association presidents and general secretaries to discuss strategic matters and provide a platform for discussion, debate and an exchange of know-how," said FIFA on 23/11/2016. Football federations from France and Belgium, from Tahiti to New Caledonia, Haiti, and a number of francophone African countries all met in Paris for this summit.
