Audiovisual company Panasonic has extended its partnership with FC Barcelona's (champions of La Liga in 2012/13) Brazilian forward Neymar by four years on the 22/07/2013. The contract that started in 2010, reportedly earning the player €900k per year, will now end in 2017.

Neymar will appear in new Panasonic adverts for B2B and B2C promotions in 193 countries. The new agreement was concluded in anticipation of the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016. Neymar will be Panasonic's global ambassador in its promotional activities for the Olympics, of which the Japanese company is a partner. The brand is developing a website to promote the Brazilian player's image.

Panasonic became a partner of FC Barcelona on the 15/07/2013. The company can use Barca's branding and will benefit from visibility at the Camp Nou and in the club's communication material for the next three years, or until the end of the 2015/16 season.
