Italy: renewal in Beijing (CHN) of the agreement between the Italian and Chinese Federations

"Carlo Tavecchio, president of the Italian Football Federation, and Cai Zhenhua, president of the Chinese Football Association, have renewed, in Beijing (China), the agreement between the two bodies," the FIGC announced on 21/11/2016. The two federations will also continue their "technical collaboration, organisational and implementation of football development projects".

Carlo Tavecchio was accompanied in China by Renzo Ulivieri, president of the Italian union of managers (AIA), and Mario Gallavotti, the director of Coverciano, the Italian national training centre.

"The FIGC has signed 18 international conventions relating to the technical and managerial development of football," added the Italian Federation.

"We export a model from technical support to infrastructure. The synergy with China represents a valuable opportunity for Italian football," said Carlo Tavecchio on 21/11/2016.
