Canada: 1 million viewers for Toronto - Montreal (MLS) on TSN and RDS

The first leg final of the MLS Eastern Conference, Montreal Impact - Toronto FC (3-2), drew 1.024 million viewers on average in Canada, (595,000 on TSN and 429,000 on RDS) on 22/11/2016 (20:00 US East coast time). This match between the two Canadian teams was a record for an MLS match on Canadian television on both Bell Media group pay-TV channels.

The previous record was held by the MLS play-off game, Montreal Impact - Toronto FC (3-0) which drew 587,000 viewers on average on the channels of Bell Media, on 29/10/2015.

In total, 3.6 million viewers saw all, or any part of, the Montreal - Toronto match on the English channel TSN and the French channel RDS.
