FC Bayern Munich: record turnover of €626.8m (+19.7%) and profit of €33m in 2015-16

The FC Bayern München AG group (Bundesliga) posted a turnover of €626.8m for the 2015-16 fiscal year (from 01/07/2015 to 30/06/2016), an increase of 19.7% compared to 2014-15 (€523.7m), the club announced at its annual general meeting on 25/11/2016. This is the highest turnover in the history of the Bavarian club.

This figure includes the activities of the FC Bayern München AG group (which manages the professional football section), the Allianz Arena Stadion GmbH, and all other subsidiaries of the club. FC Bayern München AG recorded an increase in turnover of 21% in 2015-16 (€587.7m) compared to 2014-15 (€485.6m).

The EBITDA for FC Bayern München AG was €142.5m in 2015-16, up 28% year-on-year (€111.3m in 2014-15). The club generated a profit after tax of €33m (+38%, €23.8m in 2014-15). "FC Bayern have surpassed all previous figures for the 2015/16 fiscal year, announcing the best result in the club's history," stated the club in a press release.
