The Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang became an ambassador for the video game franchise PES (Pro Evolution Soccer), produced by the Japanese video game maker Konami, on 24/11/2016.

The Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) striker will promote the flagship game of the series, PES 2017, its international videogame competition the PES League, and PES variations Club Manager and PES Collection.

The same day, Konami launched a second DLC (downloadable content pack) for PES 2017, including the PES League game mode. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appears in the promotional video of this additional content pack.

Konami Digital Entertainment partnered with Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) for an initial period of four seasons (2016-2020), from 17/08/2016. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang succeeds the Brazilian player Neymar (2016, FC Barcelona), the German Mario Götze (2015, Borussia Dortmund), and the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo (2013, Real Madrid CF), as an ambassador of the PES franchise.
