Matchday 12 of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season drew an average of 46,292 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 91%, from 25/11 to 27/11/2016. The average attendance of the German league is currently 41,324 fans per game on the season (average fill rate: 93%).

FC Bayern Munich - Bayer 04 Leverkusen (2-1) recorded the highest attendance of Matchday 12, with 75,000 spectators at the Allianz Arena (sold out). Bayern Munich have played seven sold-out home games in the 2016-17 season.

Six games of Matchday 12 drew more than 50,000 spectators, a record in 2016-17. Despite these figures, this Matchday is not among those which recorded the highest average attendance of the season, mainly due to two matches:
• Hertha BSC - Mainz (2-1), poorest stadium fill rate of the season in Germany (50%, with 37,852 spectators)
• Ingolstadt - Wolfsburg (1-1), lowest attendance of the season so far in the Bundesliga (13,251 spectators, 84%)

  • The 18 Bundesliga clubs registered an average of 43,325 spectators per game in 2015-16.
    • Average stadium fill rate: 93%.
