SFR Group has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights, in France, to the Portuguese Cup and Portuguese League Cup for the 2016-17 season, announced the telecommunications group, on 28/11/2016. The matches of these competitions will be broadcast on the pay-TV channels SFR Sport, from the first round (29/11 to 30/11/2016) for the League Cup and from the Round of 16 (13/12 to 15/12/2016) of the Portuguese Cup.

SFR Sport broadcasts three games per matchday of Liga Nos, since its parent corporation Altice, the Dutch holding of telecommunications groups and cable operators, acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights, in France, to the Portuguese first division for the 2016 -17 season, on 10/08/2016.

SFR Sport is also the exclusive broadcaster of the Premier League, in France, for the 2016-2019 period, since the rights acquisition by Altice, valid for France and Monaco, on 26/11/2015.
