France: LFP extends, for three years, the partnership agreement with FC Miami City (Florida, USA)

The LFP has extended its strategic partnership with FC Miami City club in the PDL (Premier Development League, considered the fourth level in US soccer), for three years, announced on 25/11/2016. The partnership began in February 2015 and has been extended to 2019.

"This agreement will enable the LFP to continue its Ligue 1 promotion work with young football licensees in the United States. In this partnership, FC Miami City can easily send players from its academy to its first team to complete their training or experience in France," said the French League. FC Miami City has more than 600 members in its academy, presented as a reference in Florida.

"We are very proud to continue our work with FC Miami City. This partnership allows us to connect French football with US-based football, which now has over 4 million members. It's a win/win as much as sports marketing," said Mathieu Ficot, economic development manager of the LFP.
