LaLiga: Microsoft becomes official technology partner of the Spanish Professional Football League

The US information technology group Microsoft has become the official technology partner of LaLiga, announced the Spanish Professional Football League on 30/11/2016. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. This is "a global alliance that seeks to transform the experience of football fans through innovative digital solutions," said LaLiga.

"This agreement, which plans the development of various lines of action, will enable the 1.6 billion worldwide followers of LaLiga through social media channels to access innovative digital products and services that will be delivered in a customised way," added the Spanish League. Users can specify their interests to have access only to the most relevant content to their profile; to videos that reflect their preferences, or statistics relating to their players or their favorite team. Subscribers will be encouraged to share this content on social networks to further increase the LaLiga community of fans worldwide.
