The 20 clubs in the 2016-17 Serie A TIM season have a cumulative 13.95 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/12/2016. This ranks the Serie A TIM in third place in the Top 5 leagues, behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, with an average of 697,917 followers per club.

AC Milan are the most followed Italian club, with 4.08 million followers, an increase of 82,100 (+2.1%) compared with November 2016. Juventus (2nd, 3.62 million) and AS Roma (3rd, 1.19 million) complete the Italian podium. These three clubs have a cumulative 8.9 million followers, or 63.79% of the total of all 20 clubs in the Serie A TIM.
